Navigation Aids
Avilés Port Authority’s Navigation Aids Unit is responsible for buoys in both Avilés Estuary and Eo Estuary, as well as for the lighthouses along the coast from Avilés to the neighbouring region of Galicia. These comprise a total of 53 signals, 7 of which are lighthouses.
Avilés Estuary Buoyage
Avilés Estuary buoyage comprises 42 signals, consisting of lateral marks, landfall lights and leading lights.

Eo Estuary Buoyage
Eo Estuary buoyage on the Asturian side, for which the Avilés Port Authority is responsible, comprises three signals. One beacon and another two signals that serve as leading lights.
